Limp Mode - Help?
My mate owns an R56 Cooper S, 60 plate, N18 engine, 42k on the clock.
The car has suddenly been going into limp mode after being driven hard, we took it down to Jason at Millsey's Autos and he ran a diagnostic check and changed the diverter valve, which was the thing that was being flagged up by the ECU.
You can see where this is going.. the car went back into limp mode and turning the engine off and on turns limp mode off, but the engine half full light stays on.
Any idea's what this could be? The diverter valve definitely isn't the problem and apparently these engines don't coke up.
