Average Cost Of The New MC

As the elitists have set up this thread for their new MINI Cooper S, I thought I would follow suit and start the same one for the majority that are buying a new MINI Cooper.

As I am not actually buying a new car myself (I am lucky enough to get one as a company car!) someone else will have to start the ball rolling...

(My guess is that ollymale will be the one... )

Nearer £18,000 ! with my costly extras but still can't wait.

An MCS was out of the question purely on insurance grounds.

I have a very nice Pepper White w/black roof n mirrors n bonnet stripes coming due for delivery on launch day confirmed yesterday! They are just unsure whether I will be able to get my Aero kit and spoiler on straight away.
Ah well.

Just over £18K and thinking about adding Bluetooth. Can't make up our minds about wether Bluetooth is worth the money.

Scrogg - If it's a no to Bluetooth. Is there a solution that I can buy that integrates with the Multi-function SW?

Not from MINI, but there are loads of much cheaper systems available aftermarket that must be (they're only switches afterall!) and I'm sure there must be threads about this somewhere (If not, start one!) where people "in the know" can advise you.

No matter what anyone says to me, I will not be convinced that £870.00 for a factory-fit Bluetooth is good value!

Like this!

Outside:
MINI Cooper Chili Red / Black
17" Flame Spoke Alloys
Aero kit
White indicators
Black Mirrors & bonnet stripes
Darkened Rear Glass

Inside:
Carbon Black Leather Lounge
Piano Black Dash
Cream White Colour Line
Chili Pack
Sat Nav
Auto Air con
Chrome line interior
MINI Hi Fi System
Multi function steering wheel
Exterior Mirror Pack
DAB Digital Radio
Smoker pack (I don't smoke but I like having the ashtray for coins)
ASC+T

Yes I could get a nice S but as I drive around London I don't really need the performance
I have to sit in my MINI three hours a day for 25k miles a year so I'm having all the creature comforts and I don't care about the loss at trade in - My current Cooper was about £18k after options and mods and has more than halved in value in 2.5 years and do I have regrets? No!

Portugal Male
Mine will be a present from my parents around this Christmas or early 2007. MC with basic spec, will cost 25.350€ here in Portugal. Add to it 508€ for the Laser Blue or Nightfire Red and, if I'm lucky, 97€ for those sexy white stripes in the front.
