Picked up my Red cooper/white roof, chili pack with the red part leather interior just a few days before the big C It's absolutely fab & having owned the previous Cooper it's a vast improvement on what was already a fantastic car.

As someone else has said, the ambient lighting is a cool touch. Waiting to put my 17" flame alloys on & will then post some pics (if I can work out the technology)

Picked up my Cooper in December.

Love it to bits.

Anyone fancy nursing a new guy around forum etiquette etc?

I live in a sunny Lancs seaside resort (guess which one and hence guess the well known local dealership!)

Aye, I'm a Blackpool resident and Woodmans is the place (could have said that though in the first place eh!).

I've actually been lurking around these forums since R56 launch day, so I'm familiar with some of the names.

I've been thinking of going on that run, with my lad, planned for the end of the month (Woodmans/Trough of Bowland/Clitheroe) so I guess I'll meet up with some folk from the NW if I did.

Still finding my way round the car - have only just discovered that if you switch off with sidelights on then they stay on with a chime reminder (have been used to switching off on dipped and the whole lot then goes out when you leave the car).

Don't worry - I'm usually quicker on the uptake than this!!
