Just saw an R56

Just saw an R56 on the road, black Cooper with white roof.

INSTANTLY recognisable as an R56, then when it drove past i was like "no, it's an R53, no wait, it's a R56... yeah, it is an R56 definately !"

made me look twice.

cant wait to get mine now, it looked so cool ! the driver thought i was mad just pointing and sorta bouncing around in the passenger seat of the car i was in

Not sure what's more impressive, the fact you could tell it was an R56 at a glance, or that they could tell that you were mad.

There are 2 R56s round here. Made me look twice when I first saw them both.

Only seen the one I was test driving leave the dealer. Still haven't seen one and I watch out for them. Only found a GP after 4 months of looking (GP is a little rarer though)

former is easy if you're in the know, the latter is quite bleeding obvious !

Also only seen the one I'm driving in on the roads. And that involved leaning out of the window at a really weird angle.

Might you have clipped something and removed part of the wheel arch liner whilst at this angle

So far the only one I have seen on the roads is mine I kinda like this temporary exclusivity! I have had a nice smile from a man in an astro black S and filthy look from a woman in a PW convertible!

Got ogled on the m6 j13 area on Saturday by a R53 and its occupants (ok, just the occupants really)
