Nightfire red.....?

Any one got their nightfire red yet, or have you seen one?

Dulux delivers their first 500 gallons of ´Nightfire Red' ready for start of production on April 21st.

Therefore you might expect to see them in a showroom near you a week or two later.

I thought that NR went into production on week 14? which is the 1st April?

We were originally told December delivery, then 1st week of March, now its the last week of April.
My wife is thinking of cancelling......

I've just been told by our dealer that Mini are not gone to ever make NightFire red and is has come off thier system.

What deos anyone else know about this.

Good to know that there are still dealers out there that have lost the ability to read and understand the written word!

It was announced to dealers by MINI on Wednesday this week that Nightfire Red is expected to be available from April , but there is no firm date yet (still!)

I would hazard a guess lozza0 that your dealer is telling you this to make you change your order for another colour, so that they can register your car in March for this quarter's target.

Get you dealer to put his claim in writing, then take picture of the first one you see.

Then land on him like a piano.

Thanks guys amd girls, I think you are right, the dealer is trying to push my order though. He's not got a chance, I'm going to get my night fire red.

When did they send you this, as I'm still battling with them. The dealer is still saying one thing and Mini are saying another.

I have also now asked Mini to send me confirmation writting.

Hey, I got that email yesterday (5th March). I emailed customer.information@mini.co.uk asking them what is happening with the colour straight after your first post about it , and they got back to me the next day with that email confirming it'll start production week 14.

I can't believe your dealer is telling you it's not going to be produced - I'd change dealers!
