TBH I'm pretty pleased with the ride with the 17's on even with runflats. Some people may disagree, but compared to the r/f tyres I had on my previous MINI - the ride doesn't seem so harsh.

Nice car! It beats a blue 3-wheeler, doesn't it?

I can't remember off hand - will dig out the invoice and let you know, but I know that together with the CooperS petrol cap the total was approx. £450, but I'm not sure on the breakdown.

I think you can have the M/F JCW steering wheel, but you don't get the carbon fibre inserts.
Though check with MINI to confirm this.

Hi Helen, that's what I'm on about the JCW SW, when I spec'd it on the CD, it only showed the bottom spoke with the CF inserts not the two with the MF buttons

You think they could make some Carbon Fibre ones.

You'd think they would with the amount of people who have requested them!
The JCW wheel is worth it, but you only have 2 options.........

a) Have the m/f with just the carbon on the bottom section
or
b) Keep the bottom section silver to match the m/f inserts - but may look a little odd
if you have the c/f handbrake and/or gearknob.

Personally I would go with the first option.

Just thought I would post this:

I asked Chris (Woodmans) how much the R105's were:

The R105 alloywheel and tyre set would be £1375.00 inc vat and discount, but if you fit 18 inch rims you must fit the steering lock limiters as well this also means a KDS wheel alignment must be carried out as you strip the steering arms down to fit the limiters and the kds would be £175.00 inc vat extra

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom.
