United-Kingdom finaly got it

Hi Guys, well I am a proud owner of a Mini Cooper, hand over was excellent. Got a few hours without any rain as well. It all tucked up in the garage for the night. Been sorting out all the setting and finding places to put all my stuff. Just a few questions some of you may be able to help me with before i go back to dealer.
1. My auto headlights seen to stay on all the time.
2. I have autoaircon when in auto mode is the green light over the aircon button meant to stay on all the time. I thought if i was on the aircon was activated and off when not, as the outside temp been only 7c then aircon should not be activated.
let me know if you can shead some light on this for me. Thanks

Glad you got it ok Any pics?

Dont have auto lights so cant help you there

When you first switch on the Auto Aircon the actualy aircon button does come on, I then switch it off unless I need it. But I do keep the system with the 'Auto' button on and just adjust the temp accordingly

Congrats, we do expect piccies

Auto headlights you can re-programme the setting.
As for the aircon, I don't think it automatically switches off if the outside temp drops, as it's useful, as aircon is required on cold days when your windscreen is fogging up.
You just need to switch the a/c pump off when it's cold outside manaully.

I had one car (RX8) which turned off the a/c pump when the outside temp dropped to less then the required temp in the car. This was more difficult to manage on cold days as although the a/c pump light was on you knew you had to "override" the auto system to actually get it to it to work to demist quickly.

In my experience it's much easier to press an a/c button to off on cold days rather then trying to get it to come on when needed on cold days.

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

The sensitivity can be adjusted if you have the sat nav through the menu options there however it cant be done if you dont have this. Not sure if the dealers can change the setting but mine are on most of the time when its not full sunshine and they dont seem to annoy anyone
