United-Kingdom Mini Cooper Packs

I am sorry to ask such a simple question, but I am totally new to Mini's. Should there be a reference on the V5 or within model number, that confirms that the car has an official pack e.g. Pepper or Chili? I have been speaking to a dealer who has originally said "no pack" and then thinks there is a Pepper Pack, so I am confused.

Trim levels aren't included on the V5C.

On saying that, I have found it odd when doing online insurance quotes seeing 'Cooper S Chili' etc.

So is there a way to double check packs in any other way?

Go back to the original selling dealer and ask them to tell you what they ordered.??
There should be a factory record, if not their own, they can go back to and check.

The original order form from the supplying dealer will tell you, or maybe if not the dealer can get info from the factory as to what was built for that chassis number.
Theres nothing on the car that will tell you in the form of identification number etc.
Alternatively get hold of a sales brochure for your model year and take it along and tick off what its got to determine what/if packs were fitted.
