Missing diagnostic OBD port WTF

Hi folks been searching for over an hour now and i cannot for love nor money find the OBD port on my 2007 UK cooper....its simply not there.....i looked all underneath the drivers side under the steering wheel.... inside the fusebox cover.....no flaps or hatches at all......did the same on the passenger side under/inside the glovebox under carpet trim etc......its nowhere to be found.........Is this possible.......

There was a scare a while back where it was reported that BMW cars were being stolen by thieves forcing open a wind and reaching in then plugging a reader into the socket to gain access to the car and drive it off without setting the alarm off.
I think since it was proved MINI dont have the problem, but some folk might have moved the plug on their car to a position more out of reach, just in case anyone had a go at it?
So it could be there but in a different place?

Yes I agree, if the port is not where it should be I think its been hidden, due to the fact thieves, have been stealing BMWs via the plug to program a new key, you should follow the loom to find it.
