Silver (!) 2007 MCS pics in Auto Express

And for once, Auto Express have resited the temptation to fire up Photoshop!

You can see the new design chrome filler cap - look carefully and it is different, and it looks like the roof dips more towards the rear. Lamps & side vents still taped up though!




The more pictures I see, the more I reckon it will cost a lot to make a Cooper look how I want it, but the MCS looks cool as it is so am considering turbo power

how many of these so called spy shots are really 'staged' events to drip feed images to the public to get them accustomed to seeing the new car?

A lot I reckon - it's no coincidence that the 2007 MINI has been doing a sloooow striptease for us. Every time clearer pics emerge, the car mags run a story = pre publicity.

Last year Jaguar took a disguised XK through the City of London. Now why on earth would you test a car slap bang in central London if it wasn't a publicity stunt....

Never heard of that one, but I remember Mazda took their own spy photo of the new MX-5 when it was still taped up and sent it to the press
