Are there going to be an exciting range of colours?

id particularly like to see a 'proper' british racing green colour.

the yellow in the press pictures dont look to bright either, liquid yellow was nice and lighter.

A rumour I heard (not official and certainly not from the prototype drive I've just been on, this could be the new colour range:

R56 hatch/ 3-door one, cooper

1) chili red uni
2) Mellow Yellow uni
3) pure silver met.
4) Liquid Silver met.
5) astro black met.
6) pepper white uni
7) new white un named as yet
8) Sparkling Silver met.
9) Dark silver met.
10 Nightfire Red met.
11) Oxygen Blue uni
12) Laser Blue met.

R56 hatch/ 3-doorcooper S

1) chili red uni
2) Mellow Yellow uni
3) pure silver met.
4) Liquid Silver met.
5) pepper white uni
6) new white
7) Lightning Blue met. (Sort of a darker Indi Blue)
8) Sparkling Silver met.
9) Dark silver met.
10) Nightfire Red met.
11) Oxygen Blue uni (Bit like electric blue, non-metallic).
12) Laser Blue met.

Again this is not confirmed and not in any way official.

But from what I've been told, I'd be up for lightning blue.

I'm also hearing that BRG will be remaining in it's current form... for what that is worth.

If the Yellow shown in these photos is the new Yellow, then I have to say that I really like it! It is almost as subtle as Liquid Yellow was!

The new yellow is really nice, much more vibrant/deeper than Liquid yellow was/is.

Nooooo! If they reveal a "brilliant" white, I'll be gutted... that's the colour I've always wanted on a MINI, but I've settled for PW now.

According to that Astro black is Cooper only, Lightning Blue S only. But I do not kniow how accurate or certain that list is (but it comes from good sources).

i'd be surprised if BRG goes as well, although that said you don't really see that many of them. its become a bit like pepper white used to be - the colour everyone says they want but nobody actually orders

i wanted a pure white colour for my car but they didnt have it. would be wicked to see a really whiter than white colour. kind of like they have in asia.

I don't see Laser Blue (from your report) in either list ... is it the same as Oxygen Blue

Lightning blue does sound good

I always wanted an indi blue MINI but they discontinued it before I got a chance
