While at the Mini Plant today in Oxford for a reader review of the R56 for a motoring magazine I took some pics of these in the car park.
I did not take any inside the venue as I wasn't sure if I was allowed, but that was a pure silver Cooper and I also managed to see a lightening blue also inside.
I must admit the yellow seems a lot nicer than the outgoing colour.
Some nice touches inside the new Cooper. The "Chav" lighting as it is called internally at the Oxford plant is pretty cool! The new radio functions will take some getting use to and the steering whine has totally gone now!
somthing about the r56 looks a bit superfiical..you know what i mean, this is just added to by the s's air scoop being a fake...it's going to be made a mockery of in the motor industry..imagine when top gears back on...clarkson will bend it over his knee and spank its ass for being a fake. I saw one in the flesh, it was about a month ago however, and there was orange tape over anything that said mini, i really noticed the fog light surrounds as being really poo looking, it looks like cheap christmas presents.
