CHILI RED or NIGHTFIRE RED?

ive seen nightfire red now in the flesh and its horrible dont like it at all, it looked nice under the show room light some peoples pics showed but not in day light.

i put my card on a Chili Red. Looks more candy and hence fits the coopers image. While Night Red looks a bit more luxurious....fitting aptly an SUV

Do you think Chili Red will turn Chili Pink after a few years like most of the flat red car colours? I think it does look a classic combination chili red/white but it would put me off if I was thinking of keeping the car for a few years. Resprays are seriously expensive these days!

I think the nightfire red will escape this fate

I'd avoided solid red for years because I'd seen too many red cars go mat and faded over just a few years. Doesn't seem to happen to the MINI; I think they've cracked it.

I like the NFR, it's a nice colour, but it doesn't suit the MINI like Chili Red does. Give it 2 or 3 years and NFL will have gone and there will be a new colour, but CR will still be there; it's already been there from the start and, arguably, it's been there from 1959!

Chili Red/Black/no stripes... gives car a great sporting look, but without being CR/White/stripes like a lot of press photos! Check out the CR Roll Call in the Cooper S forum for lots of pics (mine included at top of posts).
