Some Questions About Roof Decals

Hi folks! I'm very new to the mini2.com forums and this is my first post here. I live in turkey and going to get a new r56 cooper s. Its with chili pack+auto aircon+17" etc. SS/W (dont judge me)

I have a question.
I want to have a roof sticker and i know that these must be vinyl. If i get bored of it sometime, will it leave marks when i put them off? Or do i need to use some special kind of vinyl?
Cos i want to design my own graphic via Adobe Illustrator and take it to a vinyl shop. (i got this idea from mini usa roofstudio)
any answers will be appreciated.

I won a Mini a few years back and it came covered in stickers... to remove them I just used a kettle of hot water and the stickers peeled off. Car was literally covered in them !

Only issue was that they had been on for a year and the paint work was more shiney where protected by the stickers....though a couple of coats of ploish and you could not tell they had been there.

but i think the roof sticker is another kind (vinyl)
are you sure that it wil peel of painlessly?
i plan to cover all of the roof so it wont make any difference about the sun.
