I'm afraid so. I bought my MCS bumpers and skirts back in 2004 from a BMW bodyshop through ebay for £250. I know I bought my half leather seats from a dealer too second hand. I didn't mind paying for either as I knew I really wanted them. I don't know many places that would just hand them off without making some sort of profit. Unless you raid their dumpsters.

Ohhh ok. Well, i bought the back bumper off ebay for £55 wich isnt too bad. But, kinda realised im on a bit of a tight budget as i recently bought some 18"s and they wernt that cheep. Raid the bins?! haha sounds fun. Howd your 'conversion' turn out then?? And how much were the 1/2 leather seats?? i really want some - im gonna have to get more work in!

http://www.mini2.com/forum/general-d...new-owner.html heres a thread about me missing my MINI after I sold it. See for yourself what you think. It was a beauty. See the first pic of when it was new and see the last pic was just before it left. I loved that car! It had full MCS bumpers, grille and skirts, aerokit spoiler, 17" R90s, and silver stripes. Inside it had chrome interior and pedals with half leather seats! Gorgeous! My leather seats cost £200 for fitting too but I had a friend at the dealer who sold them to me!

Thats a beauty! i like the off-set stripes. kinda like the clio sport ones. i need 2 change my stripes come to think of it! u did quite alot to it didnt you haha looks completly different to the original. lovely car. i just spoke to the man at the dealer and he said he would do the bumper for me for £50+VAT which i think is pretty good. So i got the front + back bumpers for £115 baragin! but they do need paintng white . £200 for half leather seats is pretty good! abit of friend discount eh. alright for some!

Adam, As i mentioned i got mine for free as my dealer usually bins them, a. if the customer doesn't want them, b. if he fits JCW kit to a demo. I've got a great sales guy who i get on with really well. You need to find a dealer that can't be bothered to sell them on and they clutter up their shop. My spare set are Pepper White but i want to keep them as spares otherwise i'd sell them to you. 57 Plate R56 PW/B MCS
