Well i just hate the fact that it looks like a shark when both sunroof glass open? Is there a way to stop the second one from opening and have only the first to open half way?
(dont know whats the word to describe the semi opening of the sunroof, but i hope u understand what i mean! )
That doesn't bother me too much, but it makes me crazy that the shade slowly opens by itself... with the sunroof closed! It creeps open a few inches while driving, and seems to be a common problem.
I love my double opening sunroof. I just wish they could stop the friggin thing from rattling! I agree that the new sushades are pretty lame but that does not faze me a great deal as i very rarely use them!
The ideal thing would be to fiddle with the electric bits of the sun roofs also add a second switch to open seperatelly only the second sroof when needed! Anyone ever done this?
i love the double fin look, but i don't have the problem with the sun shade moving it just rattles LOADS, i've taken it in about the rattle that and my sunroof would close and both time they put a new sunroof magazine in, which i can understand for the sunroof not shutting but not forthe sunshade rattling
Also another annoying thing that i cant figure out why they did it is the pierced sun shade. Why on earth is it pierced, so many holes and for what reason? Just letting in the harmfull sun beams thats all i figure out it does!
I hate the fact that it takes a couple of inches from the head room in the MINI, which means I couldn't have one in my MINI without banging my head on the inside of the roof!
I would love to be able to open up as much of the roof as possible, as often as possible!
Tigger.
