Apparently it is available to order as of next week. Along with the other new colors.

It's more fun up north!

Dealers will not be able to process orders for the new Convertible (R57) until early next year, possibly early feb - this is when build slots will be going live on their system and specs can be submitted for build.

Horizon Blue will be available on the R56 from Week 50 build, so this will be available to order shortly, however Horizon blue obviously won't be one of the special convertible only colours as its coming in across the range this year.

Which means the colours we have seen on the web images may/may no be horizon blue

Interesting, then interchange yellow and new color will be the actual r57 only colors? That seems to go against what others have been reporting. This is getting confusing....

Now I am Looking forward to the commute! MINI Cooper S Cabrio

There will be other new colours too next year? I read somewhere on a thread that there will also be a couple of 50th anniversary colours (but not a metallic red )

Quite right - that's Cool Blue. Looks at its best in the bright sun, and goes almost grey when it's cloudy. I'm just hoping that Horizon Blue is a bit more blue!

Horizon Blue and Midnight Black are both pictured in the very latest R55 and R56 Brochures (not the price lists).

Horizon Blue as got kind of a green tinge to it and Midnight Black is more black. Whereas I see Astro Black as being a blueish colour under certain light.

If I'm bored later I'll see how they scan and put pics up.

color code for horizon blue listed

Sorry about the cool blue posting -- wishful thinking I guess.

Here is someone who is posting the color code for horizon blue. I find it hard to see the difference between that color and space blue.

Thanks for that! If you still want Cool Blue, mine will be up for sael next spring!

I would still like a return of something like the Solar Red, but it seems that is also wishful thinking......
