joey mod/tinted headlights

if you fancy the look of the joey mod but are not sure about taking your headlights to bits then this is for you. the 'flyeyeskit' from ebay is what i used. [url="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=220358234554&Category= 72240&_trksid=p3907.m29&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its %3DI%26otn%3D1"]

here are a few pics but as usual it started to rain when i was taking the pics

And what about the brightness?

Do you have to cut it out yourself?

Might wait and see yours when we all get together, and then decide from there, but I like the idea!

Just had a thought, do you recall the installation video saying don't apply too much heat for fear of burning the vinyl? Do you think the heat from the Xenon lights would be too much for it?

It's a Mini Adventure.

Xenons run cooler than halogens dude. they create a lot less heat

I'd doubt it, particularly when driving, as the air will be cold too

Do you have any close up shots of the material when fitted as i know its called FLYEYES because it has loads of small holes in it that makes it look like a FLY's EYE. But cant figure out what it will look like up close once installed.

Thanks.

Thought I would stick up some pictures of Joey mod headlights seeing as i finally worked out how to do it!!!!!! I took the plunge and decided to go for it and imho its really easy if you can bare to watch your headlights bake and definitely worth it!! However on saying that i do really like these fly things!!
