Jcw aerokit 2 - MINI Cooper Forum

I have fitted a complete jcw aerokit 2 to my r57. It has the us arches with the orange reflectors.
I have seen clear reflectors for sale on a us website, but does anybody sell them in this country.

Can't help you sorry, but I think it looks better with the orange ones, they bring a bit of color to the car!!

Does this colour-coded JCW Aero kit replace the current kit or is it a cost option?

No, I bought the complete Aerokit from the dealer where I bought the car from and had it colour coded pre delivery.

According to an article on Motoringfile (MotoringFile Archive New JCW Aero Kit to Include Brake Ducts), there are three different versions of the JCW Aerokit:

1. The original JCW aero kit.
2. The new kit with brake ducts and black arches and a more “aggressive” front lip.
3. The new kit with brake ducts and painted arches and a more “aggressive” front lip.

Will option 3 become the standard kit when ordered, or do you have to specifically state which one you want and pay extra?

I ordered the USA Spec Wheel arches for my R56 orange reflectors at the front and red at the back and managed to convince MINI to wire them up so that they are illuminate when you switch on your side and driving lights

Hi. just wondered did you ask for the coloured arches? Mines is on order and i've ordered the coloured arches but I didnt know you got the orange reflectors!!!

The complete kit came in primer, and i had it all painted by a local bodyshop.
The reflectors are part of the kit.
