How difficult is it to vinyl/decals your self?

I've been thinking about getting the 'viper' stripes or a roof decal of some sort for my cooper...

Is it possible to do yourself? - I can't really use Phil the pirate since I live in Germany.

I can easily get hold of a hot blower but I'm guessing there is a lot more to it than that...

Thanks in advance guys.

It's a bit tricky, but not too hard as long as you have a steady hand and a bit of patience.

Thanks for the reply..

Even with a full roof decal? To me it just seams impossible to fit something flat to something curved without making wrinkles?

Vipers I'd be happy to try myself, a FULL roof decal I'd let the experts do, not worth the cost of messing up!

full roof decal needs to be done by a professional as it is a skill to fit what is a 2 dimensional item onto a very curvy 3 dimensional roof panel.

I would suggest that if you can find a local sign company who would be willing to do the fitting for you ??

We would be happy to produce and supply the roof graphic direct to you if you can find a local fitter.

regards
Phil
