| just to add another spanner in the works ,a friend of mine has a mini one has put 18 inch alloys on, no problems at all, no rubbing no steering limiters , they said the ride is harder, but the ride is harsh on the run flats , well mine is |

| I upgraded my old golf from 15" to 18" rims and the ride was harder. Top speed was 4mph higher too. Otherwise i dont see any real problems with having 18's on your mini, only real issue is to watch out for rubbing. Clearance wont be an issue as the car will actually sit slightly higher off the road. |
