Window Tints

Hey!

Im booking my car in to BMW some time next month to get 80% black window tints..

i was just wondering if anyone has a pic of there mini with 80% tints so i can see what it will look like first.. preferably one which is sparkling silver (silvery gold )

heres mine with 80% rear tints. be aware - its not much fun reversing at night with no street lights

a year now just due its first service! .. emm bmw want £100 for the tints and i asked about getting black stickers on the panel like your one on the side repeater so thats £60

what youz think black like that ^^ or black checkers with the sparkling silver underneith#
£160 all together!

yeah i got quoted 120 for my 3 rears and 2 fronts. How dark are you fronts Adam?

cant imagine they will be more than the legal 30%

need opinions! matt black side repeater panel or black checkers?!?!?!

they are the lightest tint you can get...not sure on the exact %-age

black chequers i think. matt black would look out of place if you dont have any other matt plack. my opinion anyways

Hi all, this is my first post. This seems to be a pretty good forum.

I'm very keen on tinting my back windows and the local company I found charge £100 for the rear windows on a hatchback. Is this a fair price and will the modern way of tinting windows be professional, i.e will the material peel off and be full of air bubbles?

What should I look out for in after-market window tinting?

i see you stay in scotland, if you stay near stirling drop me a pm or even add me on msn if you have it scottritchie.1@live.co.uk and i'll be able to show u a place that does bmw/mini's manufacture tints for them (they do any percentage you want) and i got quoted £100 for my back 3.. so if you want it done properly rather than take it to a wee garage give me a shout buddy

when you get tints post pics would really like to see a sparkling silver with tints could make or break the decision to get one

@scotty1 - I'm not far from Stirling but closer to the capital. I've found a wee place that I'm going to try near where I live, they are £100 and also offer a guarantee. I'll maybe ask to see some samples but they appear to be professional enough.

will do buddy, think its going in next week, might paint my wheels matt black aswel just to make the car look dark! and no probs dudley! i suppose it will save u on petrol.. emm diesel :P
