United-Kingdom Loose JCW Bumper Mesh Grill

Hi all,

I recently got a Mini Cooper S JCW auto (08) second hand and noticed that the front bumper grill is loose on one side. (see pic)
I realised that in order to fix it, i may need to remove the whole bumper and possible push the mesh grill from the inside.
If i were to take it in to BMW service centre, would they charge me (how much?) and will it be covered under manufacturer's warranty?

Yesterday as i was idling at the petrol station, the engine/car made a loud noise (sounds like high revs ie: as though i put my foot on the pedal) for 10-15 seconds and stopped.
That was the first time i experienced some sort of radiator fan noise since i bought the car. Is it normal? I did not have the air con on (if that helps).

Thank you in advance!\

just a suggestion but maybe pull it forward with some thin plyers wrapped in clothe to be careful not to damage the grill?

Thanks for the suggestion Murker1991.
I tried doing so. Unfortunately, there are no vents on the right side of the mesh. Only in the middle.
I hope BMW don't charge me a bomb when i send it in. Recently they charged me £40 to refit 2 deflectors which i bought (fitted under the front bumper).
Service / labour charge is a KILLER!

Best trick, Use a flat head screwdriver, a small one and you can put it in from left to right and just apply a little pressure and pry it back into place. done it 100 times and if it is lined up properly. should just pop in. if u see it to be a little tough, sopa water and a squirt bottle to spray some to "lube" the pin in. good luck

Or, do what I did, bend a coat hanger or welding rod so it has a small hook on the end, hook it through the grille as far left as you can around one of the grille webs and pull. Snaps right back in, no damage.
