Don't put an S bonnet on. It'll make you look a tit in front of everyone - they'll think its an S, then when you say its a One you'll be a laughing stock.

Bodykit yes

If your dad has a lot of money then fine, but don't expect people to like you!

If you're asking for an opinion, why reject it!? My opinion is don't do it, because for one it'd be an epic fail, two you'd be embarrassed and three it'd make the car far harder to sell and insure.

If you're going to do anything, follow what MINIAC says. Thats bang on advice.

I agree with the general consensus... fit the JCW kit, Cooper S spoiler and some 17" OEM wheels, and you'll have an awesome looking MINI. I wouldn't worry about anything beyond that.

If you want to go further, consider things like spotlights, JCW CF bits, interior mods, tints, colour coding the exterior trim, etc. - but be sure to declare everything to your insurance.

- I would get insured on a Cooper S if i could but i cant because im turning 17 in January 2011.

Thank you.

have you tried( PERFORMANCE DIRECT) they would normally insure you regardless of age, depends how much you are willing to pay, i would def go for the MCS than an imposter

This is the best advice so far.

The money you'll spank on kits and insurance will buy and insure you a real Cooper S in two or three years time.

MINI Cooper S in Laser Blue our third MINI (with a five year gap since 2005...).
