usually just twist and pull, however mines had corroded so I had to take mines to a garage and they had to use grease to get it out yours might be the same.
Yes the LEDs colour looks great.
I also did the same, plus added these special DRL strip LEDs that sit inside the gap between the bumper and bonnet.
Combination of both avoid canbus error or need of load resistor.

If that's the case, for better access remove the front wheel, pull off the power connector, then as advised in previous posting twist the connector base about 90 degrees (may require some pliers) then it's a matter of giggling the item out, being carefull not to dislodge bulb and drop it into the light housing. Grease O ring and shoulder before re-installing.

These look much better than the stock yellow lights the car comes with, I'll order a pair from newministuff. Any instructions anywhere for getting to the bulb fitting?
hi a question! I planned to change into LED plate number lights and other stuff as well. but the shop I went to earlier was charging me a lot! since he said mini's need a special "resistor" since the computer in mini's are kinda sensitive to changes in voltages. is this true? or just changing the lights won't affect the systems in the mini at all? I need advice! thanks people!
You need to fit the type of LED bulbs that have the resistor built into them so its doesnt upset the computer due to the current/voltage changes.
Plug in and play type they are often referred to as.
