Scotland Ice Blue - Cool or No?

Hey everyone!,
I'm just plotting my second MINI Looking at the Ice Blue colour and finding it hard to be sure how I feel about it... It is different in different lights too which seems to be making my decision even harder! Sometimes it looks pale blue, sometimes almost white and sometimes a bit greeny duck egg! I think I really like it and I like the idea of having something that's not too run of the mill. But then sometimes not too sure. Hmmm. Lot of money to spend on something and not be too sure!!

What do you guys think? The wisdom of crowds...

J

I like it, and would've considered an Ice Blue JCW Clubby as my next MINI (but it's not available as a colour on the JCW, d'oh).

I think people perceive it as a bit of a "girly" colour, but with a black roof and wheels, the JCW bodykit, perhaps some carbon fibre bits and pieces... I think it has the potential to look brilliant.

+1 on the black but not sure about carbon.
I like the colour close up but it can look a bit like primer from a distance. The overall effect is rather nice and at least it's not your run of the mill colour.

Cool

Thanks for your thoughts. I know what you're saying about black roof but I'll be buying a One D so unfortunately can't have a black roof... I'll have a sunroof though which covers quite a bit of roof surface - I know, it's not the same!

I'm a girl so I don't think I'm too hung up on it being girly, even though I'm not especially girly myself.

Wheels, I was thinking 16" 6-star twin spoke runflats.

It's hard, I wish I'd seen some out 'in the wild' to give me a better idea of what I think!
