Aero Kit, should I or shouldn't I...

I'm looking for some advice from some fellow Mini lovers :-)

I have a pepper white R56 MCS and love it to bits. I am split down the middle as to if I should get the Aero kit fitted to finish it off or not...

I really like the look of it with the kit and without the kit ( swaying towards the kit look more ! ) but it is a lot of money and would it make the ar worth a little more down the line ? Not sure if it is worth it or not.

Let me know your thoughts or ideas please

Yes do it!

In my eyes an MCS isn't an MCS with out the aero kit!

Costs a fair bit but it would be great especially on a pepper white MCS.

Here's another idea... Colour coded US spec arches with the reflectors!

You can always go on total mini as well for this sort of discussion as there are more like minded people on these kind of subjects.

Ry

Do it, without a doubt!
The Aero kit really improves the look of the Mini.

Thanks for the feedback guys :-)

I erally do love the look of the Cooper S with the Aero kit, it is growing on me every second !

I have found somewhere to by it from and fit it myself but even this is going to cost £1500ish,
R56 JCW Body Kit - Factory Painted - fits Nov 2006 - Aug 2010 | BM51.19.2.154 at www.minigenuineparts.co.uk

Anyone got some other places to buy the kit from? or know of any ongoing deals.

It's a lot of money for looks, will it add to the value of the car when it comes to resell ? I would like to think it would make it more desirable and hold a bit more value.

Don't know about adding value but if it were me I'd keep the existing skirts and bumpers and possibly sell the aero kit on once you get shut of the car.

Thats a good idea :-) Had only thoguht of selling the current bumbers and sides and keeping the kit, very good idea to kepp the original and replace when selling if needed !

Any other ideas where to get a good deal from on the kit? I am going to contact my stealer and see if they come up with something magical.

I know a lot of the boys on total mini have these amazing modified minis and the when the time comes to selling they have a stock car and a big sale of all the parts.

You can buy the kit pre painted which would save some aggro but I'd advise you to have it fitted as its a pain to fit apparently.
