Anyone know if my lifting A-pillar trim panel and the rubber weather stripping beneath it is covered under the manufacturer's warranty? It seems to me that my car might be prone to spring a leak because of how it is lifting/separating (where the window seals against it).
I'll post pictures if necessary, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas before I spent the time calling my dealer instead of just replacing it myself...
If its a manufacturing defect then it should be, depending on how old the car is of course, and its not associated with wear and tear, which is always a good get out for the car maker. You could give it a go, anyway, that part wouldnt be too expensive to renew anyway I wouldnt have thought?
