Mirror Caps & Colour?

Hi...as a new owner (picking the car up next week ) I appologise for the dumb question, but I take it that the mirror caps can just be uncliped/levered off with care? Any tips?
There is a scuff on the o/s cap so I'd like to replace it, the car is a Cooper 2007, the colour is Lightening Blue and the roof and mirror caps are white, would anyone know the exact colour or colour code for the white mirror caps?

The color is Aspen White (code 899). Part numbers for the mirror caps depend on what type of outside mirrors are on the car ...

Many thanks Caveman, I have managed to pick up a pair of unused mirror caps (matt black) and a friend in the trade is going to spray them for me, thanks for the help with the colour code etc...much appreciated!
