United-Kingdom Removing Aerial for R56 Roof Decal

Guys

I have bought a roof decal from a good company online. They have said the decal installer will need to remove the aerial to get the sticker on (Black jack style).

The installers are sign experts and wont touch the aerial only add the sticker.

1) Can I remove the aerial first? Then put it back when the sticker is on?

2) Is it hard and is there a how to?

Thanks

Rob

When u say aerial do you mean the aerial base

I wouldnt advice removing the base - you will wreck it

If its just the long aerial bit then it just screws out

yeah the base, surely the decal has to lay flat first then the base gets put back on top and screwed through?

You have to drop the headlining inside and go in from the rear hatch to reach the aerial base fixings from the underside of the roof.
But Im sure a decent decal/wrap firm could easily trim to fit around it as they apply it without the need to remove it and then all the possible problems refitting it again?

The decal company are going to now cut before sending, the whole may be a slight bit big but much easier
