hid in 2007 cooper

quiet new to this so bare with me,
i think its a 2nd gen mini i got but i am not sure.
2007 mini cooper,
i have just fitted an canbus pro alltronix hid kit h4 bulbs to my mini, and ofcourse the lights have come on, is there any way round this or do i have to get a different kit???
any body else experience problems like this

lights have come on! Isn't that the idea that your lights come on?

If its the warning light u refer to then the kit is not canbus compatible, get your money back & buy some high quality standard bulbs. That way u stay legal & don't blind oncoming road users.
