2013 Mini Baker Street + Spec D Headlight

I recently purchased my wife a Baker Street edition 2013 Mini Cooper. I purchased it in black but they have these basic headlights and I'm a freak about lighting, ALL cars should have XENON as base lighting or LED. I find it more of a safety issue than anything. The dealer wants me to spend 1300$ for new headlights but I found Spec D has a pair which look better AND they have a black housing on them! I want to know, even on their website it says it fits until 2012. On M7tuning they advertise it fits 2013!

These were the lights, but my question is. Do they fit 2013 or not? No way am I paying 1300...

There are many threads on here about this. Not sure on the webshite you quote though but for OEM:

OEM Xenon headlights can not be retro fitted to a vehicle with standard lamps. The wiring looms are different, control units will be missing and the washer system is required as a regulation in certain countries which also needs to be fitted which is part of the standard OEM Xenon fit.

Only way round this is to buy cheap chav HID headlamps off of ebay or maybe your quoted webshite!
