Stolen A-pillar trim

Overnight, some absolute ******* has nicked the exterior trim off my A-pillars.

I'm going to struggle to get this replaced quickly as it's now Sunday, and I'll be at work from 8-8 all next week. So, four questions:

1 - Will this affect the watertightness of the car?
2 - I need to drive ~300 miles next weekend (some of it motorway) - is it okay to do so with these bits missing?
3 - What's the best way to get them replaced? BMW dealer?
4 - Anything to do to stop someone coming along and just stealing the new ones as well?

Should be ok but you will get more wind noise on the motorway. If you think it might leak you could always temporarily cover the vunerable area with waterproof Duct Tape or carry some just in case. (However sometimes adhesive tapes can leave a hard to remove sticky residue behind.)
