Alta Antenna wrong size?

howdy people,
I've just received a 4" Alta antenna for my 2007 r56 mcs,
however, the screw is too large and the base diameter is obviously too large as well :-(
I've contacted the dealer here in Australia where I purchased it from (carmodsaustralia), although they haven't yet returned my email.

Could this be a case of wrong item sent (ie, for the R53, although the packaging is right)? Has anyone else encountered this issue?

thanks for any guidance,

The short stubby arial from Mini came with a couple of different screw adapters (big and small diameters). Could this be the same with the Alta product?
