Hi

Hoping someone has a copy of this, but does anyone have a PDF of the fitting guide for the MINI Colours bonnet and roof stripe kits ?

I realise it has to be precise, so wondering what the measurements and allignment points are....

Thanks

Hi there,

When I looked at doing mine for my first MCS Bumblebee it was a little guess work.

I mainly used picture on line to measure up where to start from the top of the bonnet and where to finish near the grille. It can also depend on the generation of Mini you have as the bonnet shapes are slightly different.

Try having a look around this forum using the search option also for 'bonnet stripes', after a quick search I have found :

The factory use a template to fit/position them and it takes the guy about 1 minute per stripe to do the job.
You need to fit them using water with just a drop of fairy liquid in it so you can slide them and avoid creases when lining them up.
As for exact position I think you will have to find a MINI with them on and do them the same, I havent seen any instructions, my sisters MINI stripes didnt come with any, unless you try ask the dealer if they have them to print some off for you from his system?
