Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Aero Kit

Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a second generation Mini Cooper (as oppose to the S as its cheaper to insure, i'm 17) and I really want the JCW aero kit but I'm just pretty confused as how to get it. Is it possible to get it fitted by a dealer, or is the only option to do it yourself? And is it cheaper?

If i were to do it myself would I need a conversion kit or something since the mini has different rear bumper lights to the cooper S? And where would I actually buy one if I were to do it myself?

Cheers, Joe

You can find the part numbers for the kit under Vehicle Trim - Accessories and Retrofittings on RealOEM.

Hi ya

You can buy it from mini or even ebay colour coded to your car it normal comes as a complete kit.

Example
BMW MINI R56 Cooper S JCW Dark Silver PDC Aerokit - NEW | eBay

Fog lights can be bought from mini, breakers or even ebay

And you can download a PDF on installation it's very straight forward if your ok with tools
Just take your time don't rush the results will speak for them selfs :-)

You could also pm chris at loyds of Blackpool he will be able to help you out

Failing that you could try someone like mini matt or bm spares see if you can get a second hand one

Hope this helps
