Ambient lighting brightness

Hello everyone,

I am just wondering if there was any way of changing the ambient lighting brightness in the Mini One? I have a 2009 model but can never really notice the lighting behind the door hands, in the map pocket or on the door pillars above the airbag, but have just been in a friend '12 cooper and they are really bright.

Is this a problem with the 2009 Mini or is there a way to make them stand out more?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello Ruth.
The ambient lighting on my 2007 One was the same, with no way to change the brightness and a fairly limited range of colours. MINI changed the system (with the 2011 model year updates, I think) so that you can have a full spectrum of colours and a choice of brightness levels. My 2013 One has the updated system, its much better and you can really see the colours.
