R53 coilovers on R56 - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi all!
I ve read only rumors, and now i have a biiiig question!
Is possible to mount on my cooper d my07, R50/53 coilover? (like spax from a 2003 cooper s or like kony fsd)
And if possible, i need to change springs, or the original from the coilover will be good?

It is possible. The rear suspension lower damper mounts are different though so you'll need to have inserts machined up. The front dampers go on fine as they are.
