Any problems when lowering R56 Cooper S

Hi everyone,
Quick question, I've owned my R56 Cooper S since january and im now ready to do a few tweeks, my question is, if i was to lower the car (by 30mm) would this affect any of the DSC, Sport mode buttons? Any advice would be most welcome.
