| I don't understand these things but very interested in the results once its explained! I'll read on and hopefully all will become clear. If the R53 MCS was at 115bhp and the GTT220 was at 144bhp what was your R56 MCS at? |

| Something not quite right there. That's implying 32% drivetrain losses on the two cars results you've mentioned and if correct would equate to yours having 230hp. No way has the mini anyway near 32% losses and no way your's is running 230hp. I thought the losses were nearer 15% ?. 57 Plate R56 PW/B MCS |

| Surly the headline figures do not matter, its the difference in HP between the figures thats interesting. All the cars were tested on the same day under the same conditions and that was the control. | I think you'd find that although tested on the same rolling road its easier to achieve a figure from the turbo'd/& n/a cars than the supercharged ones because the s performs better on the roads due to the forced induction from the airflow this is very difficult to replicate even with a good fan this is why most r53's fall short on a rolling. road. That being said i was very impressed by the r56's figures ![]() |

| i dont know what to say, mine ended up with 152 at 6200 rpm i think, waiting for the chart, but there was a very lot of R53 owners ****ed off , at the end of the day , its the BHp at the wheels which is the power you can use , mikeythemini was there with his, and a few other people who will wish they had not seen the results as well . i will PM mikey and get him to say he was there. as i think all the charts may be sent to him. the car below was the only car there at the weekend on the rolling road, that had more bhp, i dont know who he is , but i did speak to him, and his had 160 ish bhp |

| Lordy, I wasn't having a dig or mis-trusting your claims. Just a little confused at the results. Will S may have a valid point on this though 'and so all SC cars were pulling low figures. | I think most supercharged mminis'pulled about 10bhp less than expected on sat apart from mikeys which was way down due a technical hitch but humphs cooper pulled about 125 at the flywheel 95 at the wheels which is what mini claimed with the jcw soundkit and obviously the r56 produced alot more than expected but this is the general consensous that the new mcs is about 200 bhp ![]() |

| Forget the figures and thier supposed output for the car...thats not whats interesting....like said before its the difference between the R56 and the R53 outputs. The inaccuracy of rollers usually on the toal power or torque or the calculation to engine power. The difference between figires does not suffer this as its representative of difference between cars not the actual power. Don't believ that the car was 156bhp at wheels for a moment...but that said it was obviously way better for power than the R53s! |

| dont worry, as i said , i dont know what it means either, i have been told that the losses between the 2 cars are differant . as the SC uses alot maybe (40%) od the engine to run . but i know its the BHP at the wheel you can use . as you ask everyone who tried to keep up with me at the weekend, or that im a nutter in the car , mmmmm the later sounds about right .. |

Has any members been on track day to compair the R56 MCS with the other MCS models, i find the power figures very high could it be to do with the sixth gear test?, I have seen cars tasted years ago with this and back then was not the most accurate but hey good luck and i hope it's correct as we have R56 MCS as well roll on run in time. |
