| Can A LSD Be Fitted To An R56 S If Not Fiited Form New?? Does anyone know if A Limited Slip Diff.. can be fitted to the R56 S if it wasnt specced from new? Are there any companys offering this that you know of ? Factory JCW |

| Correct me if I am wrong but LSD can be fitted aftermarket, even on a car without LSD. The only thing is that it will not be cheap as it will require the entire engine block to be taken out. From what I know Quaife makes greta aftermarket LSDs! |

| Cheers mate, i have just phoned them up.. there were very helpful. The good news is they do a LSD for the Mini, which also fits the R56 S, i was given the name of company near me in Luton, that fits and supplys the part too. Total cost though all in looking around £1000 -£1200. ![]() See why you need to spec it for just £115 when new.... Factory JCW |

| Adding an aftermarket LSD will invalidate parts of your warranty. Much better in my opinion to change to non runflat tyres and maybe look at upgrading the suspension too. Also, the Works kit smooths out the torque delivery so that could help too. |
