United-Kingdom R56 exhaust information.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have got a R56 cooper and i wont to upgrade the exhaust system or just abck box to give it a nicer looking tail pipe and a more louder sporty sound but not really loud.

I have looked into the miltek system but do not wont to pay nearly £500 for the cat back system.

I have heard about people using power flow. Is there many of you who have used them? what are your experienses with them.

Have any of you got pictures?

Another question is will a exhaust of a old cooper fit on a R56?

Any help is really good.

Cheers Rob

Hi mate. First off, no dont think the R50/53 etc exhaust systems fit the R56. I am going to get my Powerflow backbox a week today! I have had mixed reviews, some like, others say they are not very good. However, i know alot of people who have Powerflow cat-back system and just boxes and all say that they are very good. The sound poit of it, you can choose your sound level, from sport to extreme, i am going for the sport!

Just upgraded my standard R56 Cooper S with a 2.5" powerflow exhaust and slash-cut tips. I will be posting a thread about this soon... it sounds fantastic though

Just bought a Mini Cooper S !!
