Hello Guys,
What are the benefits of installed a Forge Intercooler?
  • Is it just to keep the flow cooler?
  • Would it perform better if one decides to increase the boost on the turbo?

Yes and yes probably.

Personally I'd not bother unless you plan to remap to increase boost. The Forge intercooler muffler delete pipe is a good cheap mod also.

I have one... would reccommend it too.
Biggest difference is over 4000rpm, pulls like a train now where as it used to tail off a bit. Also looks really good behind the front grille
I have upped my boost, so my gains are probably higher than a stock Cooper S would be..
Just bought a Mini Cooper S !!
