Has anyone Tried Superchips on their R56?

Hey guys,

i'm looking to flash my ecu

and the only local vender i have is Superchips

according to the website.. they claim +22hp and +29nm of torque

does anyone have experience with them?

Iv heard they have everything according to factory specifics perfect. Thier power gains seem slightly lower than the average though, and on top of that they will bench flash it which can leave marks unlike using the OBDII port.

Really? A friend of mine with a golf gti had his done at superchips and it was via the obd II port. Is mini an exception?

And by 'it' being perfect what are u referring to? Are u saying drivability wise it's like factory?

Yeah, hte R56 is different. They cannot tune using the OBDII as they do not want to put the effort into making a tool to do the job so they bench flash them. Iv spoken to them a few times regarding this. And when i say perfect i mean they dont push the car anywhere near its maximum like some of the rubbish tuners around. The only other person i know that also keeps well within the limits is P-Torque, but they get better gains than superchips as they dont put the effort in to get better performance.
