r56 decat/intercooler

im just curious will i notice any mild difference with a decat and intercooler, without a remap? im looking at purchasing i evolve decat soon and bespoking a universal intercooler kit of ebay as there alot cheaper and i should imagine just as good. not looking for a remap just yet. any feedback will be much appriciated

Without a tune, you'll loose some low down torque, from fitting a de-cat pipe, you'll also get a CEL (check engine light) too, your ebay intercooler will not offer the same efficiency performance, as one designed specifically for the job, theres a lot more to intercooling than most folks imagine, and the cheap ones on ebay, are there for a reason!
