fantastic BOV sound

I want to install a BOV on my R56 that will sound like this
listen to 0.23-0.30 or 01.00-01.07

in my point of view i believe thats the greatest sound produced by a BOV and sounds like WRCs and from what i know so far there isn't such a BOV for the R56, but might there be something im missing or a different way to produce that specific sound?

That's an HKS SSQV dump valve. I had one on my Evo up until the other week when I removed it to make the anti lag pops and bangs louder...
Very good dump valve with a fantastic sound and I seem to recall a kit being available for the mini?

Paul.

The HKS SSQV dump valve is the one thats heard in the seconds i have marked?
If so, how do you install it on the mini and most importantly... what happens to the factory (computer controlled) BOV?

If MINI have any sense they'll bring back the supercharger for the 3rd generation.

Love the sound of the supercharged r53s but. Higher running costs and not as much torque as the turbo charged r56s. Love my r56 MCS.

Maybe a VW TSFI style set up with supercharging and turbocharging! Best of both worlds!

Next gen already released as turbo 3 cylinder 1.5 litre. No supercharger for at least 4+ years.

The Forge option will do exactly what you desire.

Quite why you'd want your MINI to sound like an angry, riced up Scooby is beyond me. That said, my mate has the Forge gear on his R56 Cooper S and it makes all the right noises, apparently.

Personally, I think sticking a BOV on a tiny little turbo is fairly embarrassing, but to each his own!

1. my main purpose is not the loudness but the specific "frrrrrrr" sound with the pedal release
2. which is it thats making that "frrrrrr" sound, the ForgeCAI or the ForgeBOV or the ForgeBOV ADAPTER, or the combination of all?
