Hey i have a 2008 cooper s with jcw tuning kit on ...

now few questions as i have a budget now i have acquired that can be spent on the mini...happy days.

Okay first thing is first...the jcw exhaust that is on the car...not very loud ...

is it a good idea to put a decat pipe on the system and leave the rest as it is?

or basically...can someone please tell me what to do in order to get around 240-260 bhp out of my mini and who would be able to do such wonders?

please much appreciated, this is not a one trick pony...ill have the dyno specs up at end of january when i want it all done by

You will fail the MOT with a decat. You'll get loads of pops and bangs but you'll probably get the CEL light from this but remap will get rid of that.

If you want 240 bhp plus it can be done but you'll need the decat, updated intercooler etc and remap. Evolve are the people to speak to about r56 tuning.

Be prepared to spend loads of cash getting to those figures plus all the suspension upgrades and big brake upgrades you'll need to cope with the additional power.

Also forgot to mention. You'll get a fair bit of money selling the jcw backbox second hand as MINI are charging a fortune for them an they are really sought after
