2007 R52 Afterfmarket exhaust.

Hi, Hoping somebody here can advise me please.
My wife has a 2007 Cooper Convertible and we need a new
back box on it.
i ordered one online and took it to the local exhaust depot this
morning to be fitted.
They told me it is the wrong one and that it should have an 'upward kink' just forward of the back box so it goes over the top of the 'strengthening bars' that run across the car, but looking at all the photos on the net, all the
aftermarket ones look like the one i ordered? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hasnt the exhaust place got one to put on then?
Some exhaust places wont fit items they havent supplied so you were lucky to find one that at least tried.

I don't think the OP has a MCS.

Hi ya

Sorry Long shift yesterday head was not on square :-(

The last back box on a cooper I changed, I got the whole thing from the cat back fitted Pretty good for a pattern one.
You can get them from the Centre resonator back as well but you will need a coupler to join them.

Hope it all work out ok

many times the pics are "standard" and not the actual product, but its usually noted on the web site as such. i would contact the seller + "discuss" the fitment
