JCW upgrades revealed???

It sounds great! It seems a shame though to be going down the same route again having add ons to the 'S'.

The rumours for ages were for an M style exclusive JCW MINI, non of the MINI COOPER S JCW as well as a JCW MINI. It seems MINI have bottled it tried to satisfy a larger section of the market instead of producing a proper car.

Assume they have two pieces of Kit:

MINI COOPER S JCW 200

MINI COOPER S JCW 2**

Good idea to open it to the older s owners. Though i think they should lower the price a little compared to the existing kit (£3500)

Why was this post moved??? It is discussing engine mods to the R56 Cooper S.... and I originally posted it in the R56 engine tuning section ?!?

I suppose either way they will both be one hell of a car.

Wonder what the price difference will be between the 200 and 2** and envy put it?

I guess I'm the wrong person to ask about the movement, but at a guess, maybe they mods on MINI2 see the JCW as a future model in itself, rather than just a tuned MCS? Just a guess though.

Do you have any idea when MINI will officially announce spec and cost etc? My MINI is one year old tomorrow and I would enjoy planning my next MINI (which I'm hoping will be the new JCW), even if it is 12 months or so.

I contacted the dealer today they say Mini say nothing yet for BMW

Bits of it does, I've said all along expect a JCW sound kit again, and a specific JCW car.

I'd agree with some of that on MF, but I think some of it is being mis-interupted by the readers of the article but also the way its written, with some little details still not confirmed yet so how they can be known for sure
