When will we see some JCW spy photos

With the recent release of the undisguised Clubman photos, would that suggest that MINI will be focusing on development of a factory JCW Works model and therefore some spy photos of those prototypes might start surfacing?

Am I wrong in thinking that there was going to be some kind of announcement at MINI United at the weekend? Was hoping that perhaps the lucky ones that made it there would have some news for us?

Any more news from Gabe or anyone with contacts in MINI?

Since the Stage 1 announcement its all gone quiet on the full fat JCW MINI!

Personally don't think there will be any anouncments until after the official launch of the Clubman. MINI won't want the JCW to distract from the launch of their 'other' MINI. As for spyshots, not sure there will really be any of them for a while either. I would guess the main changes will be mechanical, with a few cosmetic tweeks. Because of this I would guess that the JCW engine and mechanicals will be tested in standard looking S models, initally at least.

What Humph says, they wont even mention it until other things are out of the way first, not a sniff I'd imagine. Then when testing, what's to see? They could be doing it all now, and we'd not really need to know.


Although the Nurburgring tests will probably be a tell-tale sign.

I think probably it will comes after clubman launched. Because MINI annouced that there will be changes to model every year? shrug*
